Oh What a Day

My day started so flipping awesome! Savannah has decided it is time to start using the potty, this morning she came to me in the bathroom and said I gotta pee...then she stripped and sat up on the toilet and actually went pee. So I decided to put her in undies and see what happened and with 1/2 hour reminders she didn't have an accident all day with me!
The bad part came when I got a phone call from CJ's principal that he had pushed another boy down at school today and will be in lunch detention for the rest of the week! I was not a happy mommy, it is not only that I am mad that he behaved that way but also embarrased that he did this. I don't want the bad kid....the ones nobody wants their kids to play with, and the school hates to see walk in the door.
Anyway, I am overly tired but thought I would post real quick!

Family Fun Wagon....

Today we took off in the family fun wagon, or the man van, or whatever you wanna call it! It was a beautiful day so we took off with the kiddos and headed to Chelsea, we went to a small park on Territorial rd. that the kids tought at first was boring, then Cj and Claud played frisbee and Savannah swang and Dillion ran around. While the "boys" were playing frisbee Claud found a little baby (about the size of a quarter) turtle. It was so cute!
Then we loaded up and went a little closer to Chelsea and to another park next to a creek or river whatever you want to call it. They had a teeter totter which Claud and I had a lot of fun bouncing the kids up and down on. Savannah sat on one end with me on the other and yelled across the park to daddy "I like it, I like it" It was very funny.
Anyway, it made for a fun little trip and then I came home and took a nap for 4 hours!!! I had no idea I had slept that long until Claud told me...oops guess I will be up all night again!

*Updating Sick Count*

Now I have it...I think my mother in law was nice enough to share the illness that she had over the weekend with us! My throat hurts, I am coughing, and I just plain feel like crap! I do like one thing about getting whatever it is that the kids have....I know how they really feel.
I really hope nobody shows up for a visit because the house is probably not gonna be pretty by half way through the day, I sure don't feel up to messing with it!

The Sick Count Begins Again....

Savannah has a cold, although it may be just allergies but I don't think those come with a fever although I could be wrong. Anyway, she is banished inside the house until she is feeling better which makes me the MEANEST mom in the entire world....so those of you competing for that title just a note that for the moment I hold it, thank you very much!
I just want her to rest and get better I am sick of the never ending colds around here!
On to another note I haven't heard anymore about that thing I asked you all to pray about although it may be a week or two or three before we know anything about it. Don't be concerned nobody is sick or running away or anything:)
Today Dillion went on a field trip to a gymnastics place, he must have enjoyed it a lot because he hasn't stopped telling me about it since he got home 3 hours ago lol
So that is all I think for today I will keep you all updated on the happenings around here as much as possible!

Asking For Prayers...

I am again asking for prayers for my family....I am not really ready to get into the details yet, but let's just leave it at we are trying to get something that we really need! So if you could say some prayers for me and my family that would be great!

2 Years 4 Months and Still Amazed.....

I have been thinking yet again about how amazing my baby girl truly is. All of my kids are amazing, but what Savannah overcame is a different kind of amazing that I didn't think would ever happen!

For those that don't know (which I am sure isn't many) Savannah is our preemie! She was born 9 weeks early by emergency c-section. It was pure luck, or fate whichever you want to call it that I was at the hospital that night and that they caught my placental abruption while it was happening. I don't know all the scientific data on placental abruption but I do know they told me mine was worst case scenerio.

Anyway, she was born 2# 3oz. on Dec. 21st 2005.

She was transported to UofM that night and stayed there for the first month....yes only a month before she was allowed to come home. That to me anyway was amazing step one! We brought home our 3# 9oz baby (that was a different expereience) and made our plans to never take her into the world! LOL.....we did eventually take her into the world but not too many places, those first few months were hard on me having to get up every 2 hours to feed her whether she was awake or not but it was sooooo worth it!

Long story short here we sit 2 years later and she is doing EXCELLENT! No long term effects.

She is talking up a storm and words that everyone can understand. She didn't have delays in anything that she did.

And now I look at her and just think how lucky we were!

Blah Blah Blah

We went and picked up my new used dryer today! Claud is trying to hook it all up right now for me, he is such a good husband I tell ya'.
My spa party went well, I had 5 people that came and we had a good time, everyone left nice and sleepy from their relaxation product demos! Plus they all ordered enough that when it came time for me to pay for mine I didn't owe anything and I had a $60 order. Got me some acne stuff hopefully I will keep on using it!
I have been wondering lately if I am the only woman in the world that feels the way I do about my family and my home life? Like I am the one that does it all around here, I have to do the cleaning and I hate cleaning with a passion! I am trying to get to that spring cleaning thing and have been trying to go room by room doing the general pick up so that I can deep clean but the minute I get done with one room and move to the next when I come back the clean room is dirty again! It is annoying I tell you!
So I have mandated to my family that tomorrow is our family cleaning day....nobody goes anywhere until it is DONE! That includes me...no watching toons, no watching Hot Rod TV or whatever that crap is! Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest but it isn't gonna be on my watch!
Well I just thought I would pop on and vent a bit thank you for reading!

I Think it is Going to be a Busy Weekend

I am thrilled that I found a used dryer on swap shop! I decided after much thought that it would be cheaper to find a nice used one than to try to fix mine, of course it will look pretty stupid for a little while that I have a stackable laundry unit next to a regular dryer...but oh well! Our plan is down the road to buy a used washer and sell the old unit. Maybe someone will be able to fix it. Plus I will save in the long run since the one I had is electric and the one I am getting is gas.
So I have to find the laundry room today at some point so that tomorrow Claud and I can go and pick it up.
Also tomorrow evening is my Spa Party, looking forward to that. I enjoy hanging out with people and chatting anyway and this gives me a great way to do it...and earn "make me feel pretty" stuff!
Well I need to get to cleaning and whatnot and I may just go and visit my sister today, it has been a week I think since I was last there.

I hate being sick!!!

Well Monday night into Tuesday most of the day were bad for me. It seems I caught some sort of stomach bug! I so much that stay at home moms could get sick days since all I wanted yesterday was rest to get over it, luckily Claud was able to come home a little early and I did hop back in bed. I feel a lot better today, which is a good thing since I will have 2 extra kids here for awhile. I really need to get some housework done too, thankfully it isn't too bad since my little Dillion cleaned up for me a bit yesterday morning (he is so sweet)
Not too many new and exciting things are happening around here lately, this weekend I am having a spa party so that will be fun...I went to one a few weeks ago and enjoyed it enough to have my own. You get to try the products and best of all relax (no kids allowed lol). Not as fun as some of the other parties I have had in the past but still ok. LOL
Anyway, I should get to thinking about picking up a little, my spare kids will be here in an hour or so.

PS***I got my financial aid letter from Baker...grants will cover my tuition and I will have $600 left each quarter (fall, winter, spring) for books and lab fees! Yeah!!!

Do They Ever Outgrow It???

I was just in the boys' room to "help" them clean it but I got so mad that I just did a little and walked away. I know they are still young but both of them understand the concept of money and that all the stuff they break and leave laying around for the dog to chew on cost me money! I am ready to take away ALL of their toys and leave them with a bed and dresser...I am at my wits end with these two. Dillion just came out and asked if he could have a break, from what? He hasn't done anything yet???
I am just stressed today I guess..I would like to start my spring cleaning this weekend but first I have to have the house generally clean...then I can deep clean. Anyway, I am going to stop writing now and find another room (besides the sty down the hall) to clean so tomorrow I can get up and start spring clean!

UGHHHH

I want to know where the magical fairies are that are supposed to clean this house??? So far this morning they haven't shown up so I guess I will have to do it myself! Speaking of stuff that sucks around here....my dryer is broke and my dishwasher is smoking....how come everything has to break at once in a house?? The dishwasher is not a must have I can do them by hand (I don't like to but I can) But the dryer yep that is a must have, with 5 of us it piles quickly...I took I don't know how many bags to the laundromat yesterday :( The bad part is there is still more here waiting to be done and a few bags already loaded in the van to do today. It never ends, I have no clue how I am going to keep up with all this and go to school full time? Although I know someone who does it and has 2 more kids than I do.....Bec you're my hero lol
Well I suppose I should make an effort to clean today....have a great day!!!
