Summer's Coming...

Well let's see, Cj has 5 1/2 days of school left and then they are all home for the summer again. It feels so strange to have all 3 of them home with me all day long, not to mention how long it makes the days...love them dearly but it is a lot harder with 3 of them then just 2 of them. I am going to be visiting the dollar store to buy them lots of things to occupy their time along with making up a schedule so that we have more of a routine around here.
I am excited though about taking at least one family vacation this year, the boys are getting older and enjoy more things so it ought to be more fun to take them and show them new places.
Things around here are pretty much the same, I plan to clean the house today and really try to get a lot of things done, I can't do laundry since my dryer is broke (my new used dryer) one of the drum rollers took a crap, so I have to order a new one so Claud can fix it for me. I am thinking of investing in a clothesline for outside so that this summer I can hang clothes...then I won't care if I have a working dryer for a little bit.
So that is about the jist of what is going on around here, hope all is well with you. Have a great weekend incase I don't get back here!

Dillion's Field Trip

I am not sure but I think I forgot to tell about Dillion's trip to the zoo, this was the one field trip I was able to go on with him this year. I rode the bus with him too! *note to self: school buses are NOT made for adults* Anyway, it was a pretty cool trip, we got to pet giraffes which was my favorite part!

The place was pretty nice, although it was raining like crazy on and off so that did make it a little depressing.

I don't think I have been to that zoo since I was little and would love to go again on a nice day when we weren't on a time constraint!

Well here are some pics for you all to enjoy!

Not as many as I thought, but I guess some of them have other kids in them...and I can't post those here! But hope you like the ones I did post!

Getting Closer....

I will be going to orientation for Baker here in a few weeks, I am getting excited and nervous all at the same time to be starting school again after so long. The nearest I have it figured my first class will be starting on Sept. 29th which seems so far away but I know it will come quickly.
Dillion only has one more week of preschool to go then he is done for the summer! I know in a few weeks my posts will say something different but for now I am so happy that the kids will be out for summer vacation soon, no more running and getting up at the crack of dawn to take them to school, no more rushing the night before to find or wash a clean uniform for CJ to wear. No more looking endlessly for socks that have gotten up and ran away somewhere far from home.
Also I am hopeful that we may be able to take a few family camping trips this summer!
Well that is all for today, have a great weekend!

Pets

So yesterday I had to take Claud's dog to the vet for her shots...I haven't gotten her license yet and need to do so before I get a nice little ticket. Anyway, I loaded her up in the van and headed to the vet's office. Now she had vomited a little around the house, which is not that unusual...but on the way over she did it all over my backseat which was gross to say the least. But it also made me decide that I should have them make sure she isn't ill before they go poking her with vacc's.
So she gets all checked over and the vet decides yep she is good to go on getting her shots, but here is an injection for the vomiting and diarreha...and here are some pills and here is some wormer...ch-ching, ch-ching, ch-ching.....this is the sound I am hearing. Now don't get me wrong if it will make the spoiled little(47#) puppy feel better I am all for it. I get my bill....$80.00...although the shots that I was actually there for were $33.00.
So I have come up with a new priceless commercial:

Doggie Exam: $20.00
Home Meds.: $7.00
Vaccinations: $33.00
Injections: $15.00
Worming: $5.00
All this for a dog that will only come home and eat something else that will upset her tummy.......priceless!!!!
Cause I know this is what will happen as she eats EVERYTHING!!! Shoes, diapers, sippy cups....the list goes on and on....
On a positive note I can now get her license and have her all legal and registered here in the park...and not worry about what will happen if she gets lost for whatever reason.

Well that is about all I have for today, I am off now to clean and whatnot...that is my goal today, to get the cleaning all done since I will be off on a field trip all day with Dillion tomorrow!

New Illness!

I have discovered a new illness that some of you should be on the lookout for, as it has already struck my children full force! It is called whineyitis!
The symptoms are as follows, the uncontrollable need to cry over everything from the sun coming up to the day ending, the need to whine at and about everything in your life, the need to repeatedly tell your parents and siblings how terrible they are and how much you dislike them!
Watch out for this illness I am telling you it will be spreading I can feel it, my own kids have had it for at least a week now...and it is awful!
The only cure that I have found is locking yourself in your bedroom in order to avoid catching it, because I am pretty sure once you get it that it is permanant!

On another note I have informed my loving and kind husband that he need not buy me anything for Mother's Day in leiu of gifts I will be taking the day off from my domestic duties, and I WILL be napping...yep a long one too!

So, Happy Mother's Day to you all I am off to work here shortly and not a moment too soon let me tell you!

I am still alive!

It has been awhile since I have written anything in here, so I guess it is about time! I am currently kinda sad because we had an opportunity come up and after a little thought about it I realize that my dogs are like my kids and I wouldn't give one of the kids up to move somewhere so I guess I am in the trailer park for a little longer! Long story, but that is the jist of it.
We are still waiting on something else but I am guessing that will not pan out either...at least not at this time.
I am just super bummed that because Claud is self employed, it means that we may not have a real house until I get a job with an income that is easier to verify.
Tomorrow I am going on a field trip Cj which should fun.
anyway, that is my update but I HAVE to go get some sleep now!
