How is everyone this week? I am great, I have been enjoying time at home and not having to be at school everyday!
I have managed to get some cleaning done, it isn't all done yet...but it is getting closer. I hope to work on it a little more this weekend also.
Other than my cleaning I have been working hard on my lia sophia business stuff. I have been looking over all the information on their website and I got my kit in this week! Which means I have a lot of pretty pieces of jewerly for my display.
Also this week I have gotten another party booked. I am going tonight to go over the hostess packet with the hostess and set the date! Which brings me up to 3 parties so far! My goal is to book 6 of them, but we will see what happens. I am very excited to be starting this new venture. For those of you that are reading this and know me personally, I will be sending out letters in the mail in a few weeks to introduce this new venture and explain the benefits of hosting a party for me. I hope you will consider helping me get my new business off the ground.
Another thing is I have all my final grades for winter quarter.

Not the wonderful grades I had last term, but to be honest I was just thrilled to pass this term!
Something else that was exciting this week is yesterday my loving and way to good for me husband traded in 2 of his guns so that I could have a bow. It is really nice. I orginally was looking at a compound bow in pink(shocker there huh?) but after we got there and there was no pink bow that was left handed I decided the color didn't really matter. I managed to find a nice Browning bow, I also found out that I am a pretty decent archer! This was the first time I had shot a compound bow, I have used a recurve in the past but I tell you they are nothing alike...the compound is much easier for me!
But alas, it is much like a gun...I am good at shooting at a target, not sure about shooting a real live deer with it. They move and make my nerves go crazy:)

Really?!?!?!?
I have no idea how I did it but I did! I managed to get an 88% on my final for med term. Which brought my grade to a C, ya know the C that I needed to pass and NOT have to re-take the course? I cannot even begin to explain how excited I was to see that grade yesterday!
The funny part is I didn't even study for my final, I figured I would have to re-take the class anyway so I wasn't going to stress over the final...lol.
On another note parent teacher conferences are this week. Once again I don't have to have a conference for Dillion, I was told he is doing great! He gets along with every one and is a great kid and is super smart!
I do have to have a conference for CJ and I am not looking forward to it. He is not doing well this year, homework is a problem for him...listening is a problem...following directions is a problem. So I am not looking forward to that conference.
Well I am off to clean and stuff...isn't spring break wonderful????

Spring Break!!!!
So today was my offical last day of winter quarter!!!! I am now on spring break for the next two weeks!!!! My first online class begins April 2nd, and the I start my basic anatomy class on April 8th!
I am so ready to have a break from school, this quarter was a killer!!! My house and dogs have not been thanking school either. My poor moose dog has had to be crated 1/2 the day which for her is unusual...and my daughter has missed all the mom/daughter bonding while the boys are in school. And I have missed sitting in my pjs until 2pm..LOL
On another note, I got my starter kit ordered to begin my lia sophia business. I really hope to get some more party bookings at my starter show, right now I have 2 of them to do for April but I would love to have a little fuller calendar. But it all comes in time right?
Not too much else to talk about at this point, the kids and hubby are at the inlaws and my house is quiet..I am thinking that means nap time!

My Life Update....
So in the last couple days I have decided I liked my med term class so well I am going to take it again in the fall, ughh! Actually I didn't decide that but I am going to have to re-take the class. I at this point (final is Weds.) have a D+...if I get a really good grade on the final I will have a C-...I have to have a C or better, which means it is a 2nd time for me!
Well very frustrating, I am doing ok in my other classes.
On another note, I am taking on a new type of work for the time being. Testing the waters and hopefully I will enjoy it. I am going to start selling Lia Sophia jewelry. I am having a starter party on April 9th and hopefully will be able to have some parties booked from that. I already have 2 booked for April. Just keep me in mind if you ever want to host a party their hostess benefits are pretty nice!
On another note I came home yesterday to a very scary scene, my dog had gotten out of her crate at some point in the day and had gone into my room and knocked over the guinea pig cage. The cage was broke apart and laying on my bed, and Buster (guinea pig) was nowhere in sight! !! To be honest I would not look for him...I was scared of how I may have found him. So we searched my room (Claud and I) and couldn't locate him. I listened carefully and did not hear him.
So last night I was in the shower and the kids came running in and said "mom! We found Buster!!!" The excitement in their voices was high, so I assumed Buster was still moving...which he was. He had somehow managed his way to the living room and hid behind the couch. He was safe and sound when we found him, although quite shaken up as you can imagine. Claud carried him back to his cage and he is doing ok. I checked him over for bite marks or injuries and haven't found any. I feel so bad, I know I put the dog in her crate...but I may not have locked it well enough. That will NOT happen again I will be double and triple checking before I leave the house.
The only serious thing wrong with him is he will not sleep in his igloo house, I assume this is because he cannot see what is outside his cage when he does...for this I don't blame him!
Well I have to go and give a speech...my LAST one...and tomorrow is my last day before spring break!!! It is only 2 weeks long but I will take it!

HI EVERYONE
How is everyone on this fine Thursday morning? Things are fine here. I am just killing some time before I get ready to head to class. Today is speech class (oral communication to be technical) We are giving impromptu speeches today OH BOY!
What is new around here? Well last night I took my boys to the mother/son dinner and dance at the school. That was fun, although they ditched me the minute we got there to play with all their friends...it was to be expected. LOL
Spring forward has been hard on us. I am pretty sure the kids have been late to school everyday! I feel like the worst parent in the world when this happens, it isn't that we are getting up way late, we are up but the boys have just drug $#@ all week long, and they take turns. One day it is CJ the next it is Dillion...very frustrating! Luckily today is the last day for them this week as they have Friday off!
Speaking of Friday, that is a big day for us, we are adopting a new friend that evening...as long as things go according to plan. I was on Craigslist last night and found the friend I have been looking for now for a while. I think he looks like one of those monkeys:) He is two years old and the lady I am getting him from has decided that she should find him a new home because her son no longer gives him any attention. I say he is mine because I know I will be the one caring for him, but I think the kids will also get enjoyment from him! I have to wait until Friday however because he I have so much today going on including working for my dad. And this little guy lives clear out in Bellevue, so we are meeting 1/2 way on Friday to pick him up! I am so excited!

Hey
Hey there everyone! I thought I would pop in a leave a quick blog today, just because I had a spare minute.
My winter quarter is coming to a close in 2 weeks...lots of things to do before then however. I have a paper to write that is due tomorrow for my med term class...it is on any medical issue, and is to be 3 full pages. It could take me most of the day, but that is alright I will get it done. I also have to study for my last med term quiz before the final exam.
For my speech class I have one more big speech to write and give. This time it is a persuasive speech, I am planning to persuade the class to do outdoor activities such as camping, fishing and hunting. I am not sure how that last one is going to go over in my class...but I would suppose that is the point of the persuasive part of the speech!
Not too much to do for PreAlgebra just catch up on the online stuff...then take the final.
Next quarter I am taking only one class on campus and two online. I figured that I can manage a comp. II class and a math for business class as online classes. The only on campus is basic anatomy.
I can tell you I am looking forward to not driving to Baker every day next term...it will save me tons of money. Both in gas and on a babysitter!
Well I hope all is well with everyone, I have to go and get some grocery shopping done!

Disappointed in me....
That is how I feel about myself at this point. I am smoking...not like I was but still I am smoking. I am a closet smoker at this point, as in I am not letting the kids see me smoke. I am not sure why I lit a cigaretter again other than Claud did and it seemed like the thing to do. It was Sunday before I did, and I wish now I would not have. I have turned the nicotine receptors on in my brain again much to my dismay.
I know I am going to try to quit again, although it may not be until after I am finished with classes this summer. I have a ton of stress right now and although that is no excuse, that is the one I am going to use.
Other than this disappointment, there is not a whole lot going on around here. I am going to be taking my online orientation so that I can enroll in a few online classes...I really want to cut my driving times down as much as possible.
Oh and work is very slow for the guys again! I am hoping so much that it picks up soon as it is getting very very very tight in this house. I hate when this happens and of course it happens once I have everything all caught up and on time again...now we are back to square one ughhhh!
